Presidents Message

Greetings,

Beginning the 2023 golf season by thanking the members of The Chicago Women's Golf Club for bestowing their belief in me to lead the club for a second term.   It has been an honor working with you to provide a safe and comfortable space for women and youth to learn and enjoy playing the game of golf.  This year promises many opportunities to enjoy this sisterhood.

We are blessed to have members that guide us to continue the rich historical traditions that have kept this extraordinary club alive and thriving.  We also embrace change and enhancements that keep us current with rules, competition and enjoyment while playing this humbling sport.

The future of golf is in the hands of the youth and teaching our Bob-O-Link Junior Golf Club is a very important part of our activities.

I would like to welcome the new members with open arms. Please feel free to contact me, at any time with questions or concerns you have. I look forward to seeing you on the links.

Lunye Williams,
President

2022 Year in Review

The past year was one like no other.  Medical advances have allowed us to be with our families and get out and play more golf, we still follow safe practices.  The Chicago Women’s Golf Club celebrated our 85thanniversary with a gala.

CWGC Tournaments:
The Annual Anna Mae Robinson Open Tournament was held this year and it was very well attended. The Bob-O-Links were also able to have their Championship Tournament which was a great event for our young golfers.

Golf Play Achievements:
The Chicago Women's Golf Club welcomed our 2022 inductees in person this year.  They were able to complete golf lessons, participate in workshops, and golf clinics.

“WE PLAY READY GOLF AT CWGC”.
